Assembling the Blanket
- Layout: Lay out your squares in a 5 x 6 pattern. Arrange them in alternating colors to create a balanced design.
- Join Squares: Use the whip stitch or slip stitch to sew your squares together. Place right sides together and sew along the edges, ensuring your stitches are tidy and secure.
- Border: Once all squares are joined, create a border. Using Color A, chain 1, SC evenly around the blanket. For corners, work 3 SC to keep the corners smooth. Join with a SL ST to the starting SC.
- Finishing: Fasten off, weave in all ends securely with a tapestry needle, and trim any excess yarn. Your cozy blanket is ready to use!
