- Scissors

Abbreviations
- YO: Yarn Over
- CO: Cast On
- BO: Bind Off
Finished Size
This pattern makes a blanket approximately 40 inches wide and 60 inches long, adjustable according to your preference.
Instructions
- Prepare Your Yarn: Arrange your yarn colors in the desired order. Plan out how many rows you will knit with each color.
- Cast On: CO 20 stitches using your first color. To cast on, create a slip knot, place it on your wrist, and use the arm knitting method to add stitches to your arm.
- Row 1: Using the first color, knit all stitches by transferring them from one arm to the other.
- Row 2-5: Continue to knit all stitches. Switch to your next color in row 6.
- Change Colors: To change colors, pull a loop of the new yarn through your first stitch, then continue knitting in the new color.
- Continue Knitting: Repeat rows 1-5, alternating colors every 5 rows. Make sure to neatly connect each color by tying the yarn off against each other snugly.
- Repeat: Continue alternating your colors, knitting until your blanket reaches the desired length.
- Bind Off: BO your stitches by knitting the first two stitches, then pulling the first over the second. Knit an additional stitch, repeat pulling the previous stitch over the last until the end of the row.
- Finishing: Cut the yarn leaving a long tail, pull through the last loop to secure. Weave in the ends by tucking them into the blanket.
This easy arm-knit blanket pattern is a quick and satisfying project, perfect for cozy nights in or as a beautiful handmade gift.
