Materials

• Yarn: Medium weight (worsted) yarn in three colors - Teal, Coral, and Cream
• Knitting needles: Size 8 (5mm)
• Yarn needle for weaving in ends

Abbreviations

• CO - Cast On
• K - Knit
• BO - Bind Off

Instructions

Stripe Pattern

Alternate blocks of 24 rows each in the following color sequence: Teal, Coral, Cream. Repeat this sequence throughout the scarf.

Scarf Body

1. Using Teal: CO 40 stitches.
2. Row 1: K all stitches. (Garter Stitch)
3. Continue in Garter Stitch: Knit every row until you have completed 24 rows in Teal.
4. Switch to Coral yarn. Note: Do not cut yarn when switching colors. Carry it up along the edge neatly.
5. Continue knitting in garter stitch for another 24 rows in Coral.
6. Switch to Cream and repeat the above steps with 24 rows in Cream.
7. Repeat the stripe pattern until the scarf reaches your desired length.
8. End with 24 rows of the ending color (Teal).
9. BO: Bind off all stitches loosely using Teal.

Finishing
