Special Stitches & Pattern Notes

This pattern uses two special techniques that are easy to master:

• dc2tog (Double Crochet Two Together): Yarn over, insert hook in next st, yarn over, pull up loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops (2 loops remain on hook). Yarn over, insert hook in next st, yarn over, pull up loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through all 3 loops on hook. This decreases two stitches into one.
• ch-3 picot: Chain 3, then slip stitch into the top of the last stitch made (the stitch you just worked). This creates a tiny decorative point.

Pattern Notes:
