- Row 3: Ch 1, turn. Sc in the first dc, *ch 1, sk 1, sc in the next 2 dc*; repeat from * across. End with a sc in the top of the ch 2.
- Row 4: Ch 2, turn. Dc in the first sc, *2 dc in the ch 1 sp*; repeat from * across. End with a dc in the last sc.
- Continue this pattern by alternating Row 3 (sc row) and Row 4 (dc row) until the dishcloth reaches your desired size, approximately 10" square.
- Final Row: Work 1 sc in each st across to finish the edges neatly. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for weaving.

Weave in all ends with a tapestry needle. Block your dishcloth to even out the edges and stitch definition if desired.
