Pattern Notes:
1. This pattern is worked in rows, alternating colors every two rows for a stylish look.
2. To change colors, complete the last yarn over of your last stitch with the new color.
Instructions:
- With Color A, ch 30 (or desired width).
- Row 1: Starting in the second ch from the hook, sc across (29 sc). Turn.
- Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), dc in each st across (29 dc). Turn.
- Row 3: Ch 1, sc in the first st and in each sc across (29 sc). Turn.
- Row 4: Ch 2, dc in the first st and in each dc across (29 dc). Change to Color B in the last yarn over of the last dc. Turn.
- Row 5: (With Color B) Ch 1, sc in the first st and in each st across (29 sc). Turn.
- Row 6: Ch 2, dc in the first st and in each st across (29 dc). Turn.
- Repeat Rows 1-6 until your towel reaches approximately 24 inches in length, finishing with Row 2.
- Last Row: Ch 1, sc in each st across (29 sc). Fasten off and weave in ends.
Finishing:
For a polished look, sc around the edges of the towel to create a clean finish. You can also add a loop for hanging by making a slip knot and chaining 10, then slip stitching back into the last sc.
