Crochet Rustic Striped Hanging Hand Towel Free Pattern

Materials:

  • Cotton Yarn (150 yards total) in three colors: Rust, Cream, and Taupe
  • Crochet Hook: Size H (5.0 mm)
  • Yarn Needle
  • 1-inch Button
  • Sewing Needle and Matching Thread

Instructions:

Top Hanging Loop:

  1. Using Rust, ch 9.
  2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (8 sts)
  3. Rows 2-22: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn.
  4. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Main Towel Body:

  1. Join Cream yarn to a short edge of the hanging loop.
  2. Row 1: Ch 1, 2 sc in same st, sc across, 2 sc in last st. Turn. (10 sts)
  3. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in each st across. Turn.
  4. Rows 3-6: Repeat Row 2 in Cream. Fasten off.
  5. Join Taupe and repeat Row 2 for 6 rows. Fasten off.
  6. Join Rust and repeat Row 2 for 6 rows. Fasten off.

Assembly:

  1. Sew the button onto the top of the hanging loop.
  2. Wrap the loop around the wooden ring and secure the button through both layers.
