Materials Needed:

• Worsted weight yarn in cream and pink
• Crochet hook size G/6 (4.0 mm)
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Pearl button

Gauge:

14 dc and 7 rows = 4 inches

Abbreviations:

• ch - chain
• sc - single crochet
• dc - double crochet
• sl st - slip stitch
• st(s) - stitch(es)

Instructions:

Yoke:

1. With cream yarn, chain 60. Join with sl st to form a circle. Be careful not to twist.
2. Round 1: ch 2 (counts as a dc), dc in each ch around, join with sl st to top of starting ch. (60 dc)
3. Round 2-5: ch 2, dc in each st around, join with sl st. (60 dc)

Skirt:

6. Join pink yarn. ch 2, *dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, skip 1 st*, repeat from * to * around, join with sl st.
7. Round 7: ch 2, dc in each dc and in each ch-1 space around, join with sl st.
8. Round 8-12: Repeat Round 7 for a total of 5 rounds with pink yarn to create the lace effect.

Edging:

13. Join cream yarn, ch 1, sc in each st around, join with sl st.
14. Ch 3, sl st in next st to create a scallop, repeat around the hem.

Flower:

15. With pink yarn, ch 4, join to form a ring.
16. Round 1: ch 1, sc in ring, ch 3, *sc in ring, ch 3*, repeat from * to * 3 more times, join with sl st.
17. Fasten off and sew the button in the center. Attach the flower to the yoke of the dress.

Finishing:

Weave in all ends with a yarn needle.
