Crochet Daisy Flower Garland Pattern

Materials:

  • Worsted weight yarn in Teal and Orange
  • Crochet hook size H/5.0 mm
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

Gauge:

Gauge is not crucial for this project, but each flower measures approximately 2 inches in diameter.

Abbreviations:

  • ch - chain
  • sl st - slip stitch
  • sc - single crochet
  • dc - double crochet
  • st(s) - stitch(es)

Instructions:

Flower Center:

  1. With Orange yarn, make a slip knot and chain 4. Join with a sl st into the first chain to form a ring.
  2. Round 1: Ch 1, work 10 sc into the ring. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (10 sc)
  3. Fasten off Orange yarn.

Petals:

  1. Attach Teal yarn to any sc from the previous round.
  2. Round 2: *(Ch 2, 3 dc into the next sc, ch 2, sl st into next sc); repeat from * around for a total of 5 petals.
  3. Join with a sl st to the base of the first petal.
  4. Fasten off and weave in all ends using a yarn needle.

Assembling the Garland:

  1. Make enough flowers to reach the desired length of your garland. The image shows 10 flowers.
  2. Cut a long length of Teal yarn for stringing the flowers.
  3. Using your yarn needle, thread the cord through the top of each petal flower leaving equal space between each.

Now your vibrant daisy flower garland is complete! Hang anywhere to enjoy your beautiful handmade creation.
