Whimsical Twisted Leaves Infinity Scarf
This infinity scarf is a perfect project for both beginners and experienced crocheters looking for fun and beauty in their work!
Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn (approx. 200 yards)
- H (5.0 mm) crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Gauge:
4 inches = 14 stitches in double crochet
Finished Size:
Approximately 10 inches wide and 60 inches long when laid flat
Stitches Used:
- Chain (ch)
- Slip stitch (sl st)
- Double crochet (dc)
- Front post double crochet (FPdc)
Instructions:
1. Foundation Chain: Ch 180.
2. Row 1: Dc in the 4th ch from the hook, dc across to the end. Turn.
(178 dc)
3. Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as first dc), *FPdc around the next dc, dc in the next dc; repeat from * across. Turn.
(3 sc)
4. Row 3: Ch 2, FPdc across all FPdc from previous row, dc in last dc. Turn.
5. Row 4: Ch 2, *dc in next dc, FPdc around next FPdc; repeat from * across. Turn.
6. Repeat rows 3-4 until your scarf is approximately 60 inches long or desired length.
7. Final Row: Ch 1, sc across the entire row to finish.
8. Finishing: Join the ends of the scarf together using slip stitches or whip stitch to create the infinity effect. Weave in ends with a yarn needle.
Notes:
- Feel free to change colors as desired for a more vibrant look.
- This pattern can be adjusted for different lengths by adding or subtracting foundation chains.
