Materials:

• Medium Weight Cotton Yarn (3 colors: A, B, C)

Finished Size: Approximately 12 inches wide and 10 inches tall.

• Ch = Chain

Instructions:

Base of the Tote:

1. With Color A, make a slip knot and chain 25.
2. Row 1: SC in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across (24 SC). Turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 1, SC in each stitch across (24 SC). Turn.
4. Repeat Row 2 for 10 rows total.

Building the Body:

1. Change to Color B.
2. Row 1: Ch 1, HDC in each stitch across (24 HDC). Turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 1, HDC in the back loop only of each stitch across (24 HDC). Turn.
4. Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for 5 rows total.

1. Change to Color C.
2. Row 1: Ch 1, DC in each stitch across (24 DC). Turn.

Finishing Up:
