Materials Needed:

• Super bulky cotton yarn (approx. 200g)
• 6.5 mm (K) crochet hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Colorful yarn scraps for tassel (optional)

Gauge: 8 double crochet (dc) and 4 rows = 4 inches

Bag Base

1. Ch 30.
2. Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across (28 dc). Turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 3, dc in each dc across. Turn.
4. Repeat Row 2 until your piece measures 12 inches in height.

Bag Sides

1. Change to mesh pattern:
   • Row 1: Ch 1, *skip 1 dc, dc in next dc, ch 1; repeat from * across. Turn.
   • Row 2: Ch 3, dc in each ch space and dc across. Turn.
   • Repeat until the total height is 18 inches.
2. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Handles

1. Attach yarn to the top of the bag where you want handles. Ch 30.
2. Sc back down the chain to attach it to the bag. Repeat for the second handle on the opposite side.

Tassel (Optional)

1. Wrap yarn around 4 fingers 15 times to create a pom pom.
2. Tie off the center, trim the ends, and attach to one handle.
