Crochet Stylish Textured Infinity Hood Scarf Free Pattern
Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn (approx. 300-350 yards)
- Crochet hook size H (5 mm)
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Gauge:
12 dc x 7 rows = 4" square
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- dc = double crochet
- st = stitch
- sl st = slip stitch
- rep = repeat
Pattern Instructions:
Infinity Hood Section:
- Ch 60 (or desired length for scarf circumference).
- Join with sl st to form a circle, being careful not to twist the chain.
- Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each st around, join with sl st in top of ch-3.
- Round 2: Ch 2, *dc in next st, dc in the st after that (creates a textured effect)*; repeat from * to * around, join.
- Continue this pattern for 24 more rounds, or until desired width. Fasten off.
Hood Section:
- Attach yarn at the back of the scarf.
- Ch 60, turning each row, work in double crochet for 15 rows.
- For the last row, dc in first 30 sts, then leave the remaining sts unworked. This creates an opening for your face.
- Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Assembly:
Fold the hood in half so the edges align, and sew the sides together using a yarn needle, leaving the front edge open. Attach the hood to the back of the infinity scarf by sewing it securely.
Final Touches:
Feel free to add pom-poms, tassels, or embroidery to personalize your infinity hood scarf. Get creative with colors and stitches to make it your own!
Enjoy your new stylish accessory!
