• Single Crochet (sc)
• Double Crochet (dc)
• Slip Stitch (sl st)

Pattern

1. Foundation Row: Chain 230. Join with a slip stitch to form a large ring, being careful not to twist the chain.
2. Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc here and throughout), *skip next 2 ch, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch, skip next 2 ch, dc in next ch; repeat from * around, join with sl st to top of beginning ch-3.
3. Round 2: Ch 3, *dc in next dc, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch-1 space, dc in next dc; repeat from * around, join with sl st to top of beginning ch-3.
4. Round 3: Repeat Round 2 until piece measures 10 inches wide.
5. Fasten off and weave in all ends.

Fringe

1. Cut strands of yarn approximately 10 inches long.
2. Take 3 strands, fold in half and attach to the edge of the scarf using a lark's head knot.
3. Repeat along both short ends of the scarf, spacing fringes evenly.

Trim fringe to even length.
