Radiant Textured Infinity Scarf
This infinity scarf features a unique wave stitch that creates a luxurious texture, perfect for showcasing vibrant fall colors. It’s worked in the round for a seamless look and can be adjusted easily for width and length.
Materials Required:
- Bulky weight yarn (approximately 200-250 yards in total)
- Size N (10 mm) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Gauge:
6 stitches and 5 rows = 4 inches in wave stitch pattern.
Instructions:
- Ch 70 (or as many as needed for desired width). Join to form a circle, being careful not to twist the chain.
- Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as first dc), dc in each st around. Join with sl st to top of ch 2.
- Round 2: Ch 1, *fpdc around next dc, bpdc around next dc; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first st.
- Round 3: Ch 2, *dc in next fpdc, dc in next bpdc; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to top of ch 2.
- Repeat Rounds 2 and 3 until scarf reaches desired length (approximately 20-30 inches).
- Final Round: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc.
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
Finishing:
Block if necessary to enhance the wave stitch texture. Wear wrapped around your neck for extra warmth!
Optional:
Add fringes to the ends for extra flair!
