- Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook

Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- st(s) = stitch(es)
Instructions:
- Start with Yarn A: Create a magic circle, ch 2 (counts as first dc) and dc 11 into the circle. Pull tight to close the circle. Join with sl st to the top of the beginning ch-2. (12 dc)
- Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each dc around. Join with sl st to the first sc. (24 sc)
- Round 3: Switch to Yarn B. Ch 2 (counts as first dc), *dc in next sc, skip next sc; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to top of beginning ch-2. (12 dc)
- Round 4: Ch 1, sc around in each dc. Join with sl st to the first sc. (12 sc)
- Round 5: Switch to Yarn C. Ch 2, *dc in next sc, dc in next sc; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to the top of the beginning ch-2. (18 dc)
- Round 6: Ch 1, sc around in each dc. Join with sl st to first sc. (18 sc)
- Round 7: Repeat Round 5 with Yarn A, then Round 6 with Yarn C, alternating between the yarns as desired.
- Continue this pattern until the desired length is achieved, ensuring to maintain your rounds even.
- Once finished, weave in any loose ends using your tapestry needle.
Assembly:
Carefully slide your completed crocheted piece over the hair tie. Once positioned, ensure the stitches are evenly distributed around the tie for a balanced look.
