Crochet Light and Airy Lattice Scarf Pattern
Materials Needed:
- Chunky lightweight yarn (approximately 200 yards)
- Crochet hook size J/10 (6mm)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle for weaving ends
Gauge: 12 stitches = 4 inches in lattice pattern
Finished Dimensions: Approximately 8 inches wide and 60 inches long
Stitches Used:
- Chain (ch)
- Double crochet (dc)
- Skip (sk)
- Slip stitch (sl st)
Instructions:
Foundation Row: Start by making a slip knot, ch 25.
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as first dc), dc in next ch, *ch 1, skip 1 ch, dc in next ch, dc in next ch; repeat from * across to last ch, ch 1, sk last ch, turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn. *Dc in the ch 1 space, ch 1; repeat from * across to the last ch 1 space, dc in last dc, turn.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until your scarf reaches the desired length, approximately 60 inches.
Finishing:
- Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail. Pull the tail through the last loop to secure.
- Weave in all loose ends using a tapestry needle.
