- Lightweight cotton blend yarn (approximately 600 yards)

Finished Size:
Approximately 60 inches wide and 30 inches long at the center.

Instructions:
Foundation Chain:
Ch 120.
Row 1:
Dc in the 4th ch from hook, *ch 1, sk 1 ch, dc in next ch; repeat from * across ending with 1 dc in last ch. (Total of 60 dc and 59 ch-1 spaces.)
Row 2:
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn. *Dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1; repeat from * across, ending with a double crochet in the top of turning chain. (Total of 60 dc and 59 ch-1 spaces.)
Row 3:
Repeat Row 2 until the shawl measures approximately 20 inches from the foundation chain.
Petal Edging:
To create the petal edges, you will work into the ch-1 spaces from the previous rows:
- Ch 4, and then work 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc into the first ch-1 space.
- In each ch-1 space across, work 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc.

Final Edging:
