Crochet Festive Woodland Creature Infinity Scarf Free Pattern

Materials:

  • Worsted weight yarn in cream (for scarf body)
  • Worsted weight yarn in orange, brown, and beige (for fox appliqués)
  • Worsted weight yarn in gray and white (for owl appliqués)
  • H (5.0 mm) crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Stitch markers

Gauge: 14 dc x 9 rows = 4" square

Instructions:

  1. Scarf Body:
    • Ch 120 to start.
    • Row 1: Dc in the 4th ch from the hook and in each ch across (118 dc). Turn.
    • Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each dc across. Turn.
    • Repeat Row 2 until the piece measures 60 inches in length.
    • Fasten off and weave in ends.
  2. Appliqué (Fox):
    • In orange: 6 sc in a magic circle, pull tight (6).
    • Rnd 2: Inc in each sc around (12).
    • Change to beige for the face: sc in each stitch for 2 rounds.
    • Add safety eyes and an embroidered nose using black yarn.
    • Make 3 foxes and attach them to the scarf body with yarn needle.
  3. Appliqué (Owl):
    • In gray: 8 sc in a magic circle, pull tight (8).
    • Rnd 2: Inc in each sc around (16).
    • Change to white for the eyes, embroider eye details.
    • Make 3 owls and attach them to the scarf body with a yarn needle.
  4. Finishing:
    • Wrap the scarf around twice for a snug fit. Enjoy your new accessory!
