Crochet Festive Woodland Creature Infinity Scarf Free Pattern
Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn in cream (for scarf body)
- Worsted weight yarn in orange, brown, and beige (for fox appliqués)
- Worsted weight yarn in gray and white (for owl appliqués)
- H (5.0 mm) crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Stitch markers
Gauge: 14 dc x 9 rows = 4" square
Instructions:
- Scarf Body:
- Ch 120 to start.
- Row 1: Dc in the 4th ch from the hook and in each ch across (118 dc). Turn.
- Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each dc across. Turn.
- Repeat Row 2 until the piece measures 60 inches in length.
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
- Appliqué (Fox):
- In orange: 6 sc in a magic circle, pull tight (6).
- Rnd 2: Inc in each sc around (12).
- Change to beige for the face: sc in each stitch for 2 rounds.
- Add safety eyes and an embroidered nose using black yarn.
- Make 3 foxes and attach them to the scarf body with yarn needle.
- Appliqué (Owl):
- In gray: 8 sc in a magic circle, pull tight (8).
- Rnd 2: Inc in each sc around (16).
- Change to white for the eyes, embroider eye details.
- Make 3 owls and attach them to the scarf body with a yarn needle.
- Finishing:
- Wrap the scarf around twice for a snug fit. Enjoy your new accessory!
