Enchanted Twilight Lace Infinity Scarf
Materials:
- 1 skein of self-striping yarn (approx. 300 yards)
- 5.5 mm (I-9) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Gauge: 14 dc and 8 rows = 4 inches in lace pattern
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- dc = double crochet
- sk = skip
- sp = space
- sl st = slip stitch
Instructions:
Body of the Scarf
- Ch 130 (or desired width).
- Row 1: In 4th ch from hook, dc. *Ch 1, skip 1 ch, dc in next ch. Repeat from * across. Turn.
- Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in ch-1 sp from previous row. *Ch 1, dc in next ch-1 sp. Repeat from * across. Turn.
- Repeat Row 2 until you reach approximately 60 inches or desired length.
Lace Edging
- Next Row: Ch 3, *2 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, sk 1 sp; repeat from * across. Turn.
- Next Row: Ch 3, *dc in first dc, ch 1, sk 2 dc; repeat from * across. Turn.
- Fasten off.
Assembly
- Join the ends of the scarf together using a slip stitch or whip stitch to create a seamless infinity scarf.
- Weave in any loose ends using a tapestry needle.
