Abbreviations:
- ch - chain
- dc - double crochet

Instructions:
Row 1:
Ch 4, join with a slip stitch to form a ring.
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc into the ring, ch 2, 3 dc into the ring. (This is your first shell). Slip stitch to top of ch-3 to join. Fasten off.
Row 2:
Join yarn in any ch-2 space from the previous row.
Ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in the same ch-2 space. Slip stitch in the next ch-2 space from the previous row. Repeat this across, ending with a slip stitch into the top of the first shell.
Row 3:
