Crochet Delicate Lace Dreamcatcher Wrap Free Pattern
Materials Needed:
- Lightweight yarn (approximately 600 yards)
- 4.0 mm (G) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
- Measuring tape
Gauge:
20 stitches and 10 rows in chain stitch pattern = 4 inches.
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- tr = treble crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
Instructions:
Body of the Wrap:
1. Start with a foundation chain of 150 ch. 2. Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 2, skip 2 ch, *(dc in next ch, ch 2, skip 2 ch)* repeat from * to * until the end, turn. 3. Row 2: ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), *1 dc, ch 2, 1 tr in ch-2 space,* repeat from * to *, end with 1 dc in last dc, turn. 4. Continue repeating Row 2 until desired length, approximately 50 inches, finishing on a wrong side row.
Lace Edging:
1. Ch 1, sc in each dc and ch-2 space around the wrap. 2. In each corner, *(sc, ch 2, sc)* to create a nice curve. 3. Slip stitch to the first sc to join.
Ponytail Detailing (optional):
1. Using the same yarn, create a long chain (about 50 inches) to tie around the waist or neck. 2. Decorate it with small tassels made from leftover yarn.
Finishing:
Weave in all ends using a tapestry needle. Block the wrap to open up the lacework if desired.
