Materials
- Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (approx. 1200-2000 yards depending on size)
- Crochet Hook: 5.5 mm (I/9)
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle
Gauge
14 dc and 9 rows = 4 inches
Sizes
- XS/S (M, L, XL, 2/3XL, 4/5XL)
Stitches Used
- Ch - Chain
- Dc - Double Crochet
- Fpdc - Front Post Double Crochet
- Bpdc - Back Post Double Crochet
Pattern Instructions
Yoke
Ch 68 (72, 78, 82, 88, 92). Join with sl st to form a ring.
- Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in each ch around, sl st to top of ch-3.
- Rnd 2: Ch 3, *fpdc in next dc, bpdc in next dc; repeat from * around, sl st to top of ch-3.
- Rnds 3-8: Repeat Round 2.
Body
- Ch 3, dc in the first 10 (12, 14, 16, 18, 20) sts, place marker, dc in next 18 (20, 22, 24, 26, 28) sts, place marker, dc in next 10 (12, 14, 16, 18, 20) sts, place marker, dc to end of round, sl st to top of ch-3.
- Next Rnd: Ch 3, *dc to marker, ch 2, skip marked sts, dc to marker; repeat from * around, sl st to top of ch-3.
- Repeat the last round until the piece measures 15 (16, 17, 18, 19, 20) inches from the neckline.
Ribbing
- Switch to 5 mm hook.
- Work 6 rounds of *fpdc, bpdc* around to create ribbing.
Sleeves
- Attach yarn to underarm, dc around making sure the sleeve circumference is comfortable (place decreases as necessary).
- Work sleeve in rounds until desired length is reached.
- Finish with 6 rounds of *fpdc, bpdc* for ribbing.
Fasten off and weave in ends. Repeat for the other sleeve.
