Abbreviations

Instructions

Coaster Base

1. With main color yarn, make a magic loop.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, 8 sc into the loop, join with sl st to first sc. (8 sts)
3. Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, join with sl st. (16 sts)
4. Round 3: Ch 1, (1 sc, inc) around, join with sl st. (24 sts)
5. Round 4: Ch 1, (2 sc, inc) around, join with sl st. (32 sts)
6. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Ears (Make 2)

1. With ear color yarn, ch 5.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch, turn. (4 sts)
3. Row 2: Ch 1, dec across, fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing. (2 sts)
4. Sew ears onto the top of the coaster base.

Face Details

1. Attach safety eyes to preferred position.
2. Using black embroidery thread or yarn, stitch a small triangle for the nose and whiskers.
