Summer Breeze Crop Top

Materials
- Yarn: Cotton yarn in three colors – Light Blue (100 yards), Sky Blue (100 yards), Dark Blue (100 yards)

- sc: single crochet
- dc: double crochet

Instructions
Body of the Top
- Start with the Light Blue yarn:
- Ch 30.
- Row 1: Dc in the 4th ch from the hook and in each ch across (28 dc). Turn.
- Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in next 27 dc (28 dc). Turn.
- Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 10 inches from the starting chain.
- Switch to Sky Blue yarn:
- Continue with the same pattern for 5 more rows.
- Switch to Dark Blue yarn:
- Continue with the same pattern for 5 rows.
- Creating the Neckline:
- After the last row of Dark Blue, ch 20 (for the back strap) and leave it unworked for the moment.
- Turn the piece upside down. Ch 1 and sc in each dc for the next 28 dc. This forms the neckline.
- Once you reach the end, ch 20 for the second strap, and sl st to the other side of the neckline. Fasten off.
Finishing
- Weave in all ends with a yarn needle.
- Block the top if necessary to shape and even out rows.
