Materials Needed:

• Cotton yarn in teal, mustard, and cream (approx. 40 yards each)

Pattern Instructions:

1. Foundation Row: Using cream, chain 40.
2. Row 1: In the second chain from hook, work 1 single crochet (sc). *Skip 1 chain, 3 double crochets (dc) in next chain, skip 1 chain, 1 sc in next chain.* Repeat from * to * across, ending with 1 sc in last chain. Change to teal.
3. Row 2: Chain 1, sc in first sc, *3 dc in next sc (the middle dc of the 3-dc group), skip next dc, sc in next dc.* Repeat from * to * across, ending with 1 sc in last sc. Change to mustard.
4. Row 3: Repeat Row 2, changing colors every 2 rows in the order of mustard, cream, teal. Repeat this color pattern throughout.
5. Rows 4-12: Continue as established in Row 2. You should have an alternating chevron pattern with a striped effect.
6. Final Row: To finish, crochet 1 row of single crochet around the edges using cream to create a clean border. Make sure to place 3 sc in each corner for a smooth finish.
7. Loop: Chain 12 at one corner and slip stitch in the same corner to form a loop for hanging.

Finishing:
