Crochet Eco-Friendly Round Plarn Pot Scrubber Free Pattern
Materials Needed:
- Plastic yarn (plarn) made from recycled plastic bags
- Crochet hook size H/8 (5mm)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sl st = slip stitch
- sc = single crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- dc = double crochet
Instructions:
Round Scrubber:
- Make a magic circle.
- Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as first hdc), 11 hdc into the circle. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 2. (12 hdc)
- Round 2: Ch 2, hdc in the same stitch, 2 hdc in each stitch around. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 2. (24 hdc)
- Round 3: Ch 2, *hdc in the next stitch, 2 hdc in the next stitch*, repeat from * to * around. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 2. (36 hdc)
- Round 4: Ch 1, sc in each stitch around. Join with a sl st to the beginning sc. (36 sc)
Edge and Hanging Loop:
- Round 5: Ch 1, sc in the first 12 stitches, ch 12 (for loop), sl st in the same stitch, sc in remaining stitches. Join with a sl st to the beginning sc.
- Fasten off and weave in ends with a tapestry needle.
Finishing:
Now your eco-friendly round plarn pot scrubber is ready to use! Hang it by the loop for easy drying and storage.
