Crochet Colorful Layered Flower Pot Amigurumi Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Cotton yarn in various colors: red, pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and brown
• Crochet hook size 3.0 mm
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Wire for stem support
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

• ch: chain
• sc: single crochet
• inc: increase (2 sc in next st)
• sl st: slip stitch
• MR: magic ring

Instructions:

Center of the Flower:

1. With red yarn, create a MR, ch 1, 6 sc into loop. Sl st to first sc to join. (6)
2. ch 1, inc in each st around. Sl st to join. (12)
3. ch 1, (sc, inc) six times. Sl st to join. (18)
4. ch 1, (2 sc, inc) six times. Sl st to join. (24)
5. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Flower Petals (Make 12, each in a different color):

1. With chosen color yarn, create a MR, ch 1, 6 sc into loop. Sl st to first sc to join. (6)
2. ch 1, inc in each st around. Sl st to join. (12)
3. ch 1, (sc, inc) six times. Sl st to join. (18)
4. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Leaves (Make 2):

1. With green yarn, ch 10.
2. Row 1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook, sc, hdc, dc in next 2 sts, tr in next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sts, hdc, sc in last ch.
3. Turn to work on the other side of ch, sc, hdc, dc in next 2 sts, tr in next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sts, hdc, sl st to first st to join.
4. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Stem:

1. With green yarn, ch 30.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from the hook and each ch across.
3. Wrap around wire to form a strong stem and fasten ends securely.

Pot:

1. With brown yarn, create a MR, ch 1, 6 sc into loop. Sl st to join. (6)
2. ch 1, inc in each st around. Sl st to join. (12)
3. ch 1, (sc, inc) six times. Sl st to join. (18)
4. Continue to increase by adding an extra sc in between inc rounds until you have a flat base approximately 8 cm in diameter.
5. Work sc in each st around until pot reaches 10 cm in height.
6. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Assembly:

1. Sew petals around the flower center, overlapping slightly.
2. Attach leaves to the stem.
3. Insert stem into the pot, securing it with fiberfill and fixing it with glue if necessary.
4. Adjust and shape as desired to complete the decorative flower.
