Crochet Bright and Cheerful Rainbow with Clouds Free Pattern

Materials Needed

• Worsted weight yarn in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and white
• Crochet hook size H (5.0 mm)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stuffing (optional for clouds)

• ch: chain
• sc: single crochet
• rep: repeat
• st: stitch

Instructions

Rainbow

1. Using red yarn, ch 70.
2. Row 1: Sc in the second ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (69 sc)
3. Row 2-3: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
4. Change to orange yarn and repeat Rows 2-3.
5. Change to yellow yarn and repeat Rows 2-3.
6. Change to green yarn and repeat Rows 2-3.
7. Change to blue yarn and repeat Rows 2-3.
8. Change to purple yarn and repeat Rows 2-3.
9. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Clouds (make 2)

1. Using white yarn, ch 20.
2. Round 1: Sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 18 ch. (19 sc)
3. Round 2: Turn, work 2 sc in each st across. (38 sc)
4. Round 3: Turn, *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st*, rep from * to * across. (57 sc)
5. Round 4: Turn, sc in each st across.
6. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Lightly stuff if desired, then sew clouds to each end of rainbow.

Finishing

Sew the clouds to the bottom edge of the rainbow as shown in the image. Weave in all ends. Your cheerful rainbow with clouds is now complete!
