Materials:

• Yarn: Mohair blend yarn (70% mohair, 30% silk) in cream - 300g
• Needles: Circular needles size 5 mm (US 8), 80 cm in length
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge:

10 sts & 14 rows = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette stitch

Abbreviations:

• CO - Cast On
• k - Knit
• p - Purl
• st(s) - stitch(es)
• R - Row
• BO - Bind Off

Measurements:

Finished bust circumference: 40" (102 cm)
Finished length: 24" (61 cm)

Instructions:

Body:

1. CO 100 sts using the circular needles and join to knit in the round. Place a marker to indicate the beginning of the round.
2. R1-4: *k1, p1* ribbing for 4 rows.
3. Continue in stockinette stitch (knit every round) until the piece measures 15" (38 cm) from the cast-on edge.

Sleeves (make 2):

1. CO 40 sts using the circular needles.
2. R1-4: *k1, p1* ribbing for 4 rows.
3. Switch to stockinette stitch and knit for 10" (25 cm).
4. Begin increasing: *k1, M1, knit to last st, M1, k1* every 6th round until you have 60 sts.
5. Continue knitting until sleeve measures 18" (45 cm) from the cast-on edge. Place stitches on hold.

Yoke:

1. Join sleeves to body by placing stitches in this order: 30 sts from body, 60 sts from sleeve, 40 sts from body, 60 sts from second sleeve, 30 sts from body. Total 220 sts.
2. Knit one round across all stitches.
3. Begin decreasing for yoke: R1: *k8, k2tog*, repeat around. R2: Knit. R3: *k7, k2tog*, repeat around. R4: Knit.
4. Continue decreasing in this manner until 100 sts remain.
5. Switch back to ribbing: *k1, p1* for 4 rounds.

Finishing:

1. BO all stitches loosely.
2. Weave in all ends using the tapestry needle.
3. Block gently to measurements.
